You are a financially minded, data-driven analyst who thrives at the intersection of accounting and sales. You enjoy turning pricing data into insights, building strong cross-functional relationships, and helping the business make smart, profitable decisions. You bring a strong foundation in finance or accounting, a passion for accuracy, and the curiosity to dig into the details behind product cost, customer profitability, and pricing strategy.

Responsibilities
What You Will Do
- Maintain a clean and accurate customer pricing database.
- Partner with the sales team to quote existing products and analyze profitability.
- Work with R&D to quote new products, including detailed review of product cost inputs.
- Conduct deep-dive profitability analysis for existing customers and products.
- Manage and report P&A spend by customer.
- Manage commission payment reporting by broker.
- Maintain external customer pricing documentation.
- Create reports reflecting sales performance, metrics, and objectives.
- Address pricing-related questions and concerns raised by team members.
- Monitor competitor pricing on similar products.
- Provide support for cost accounting as needed.
- Attend food shows.
- Assist with sales budgeting.
Skills & Qualifications
What You Need to Be Successful
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting, required.
- 5 years of experience in cost accounting, customer pricing, and profitability analysis.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Strong technical skills, including advanced Excel formulas, system queries, and database administration.
- Ability to work across the organization and build strong working relationships.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Detail oriented with a passion for quality.
- Highly motivated and able to take ownership of projects from start to finish.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Analytical mindset with a willingness to dig deeper rather than accept easy answers.
- MBA or undergraduate concentration in Finance preferred, but not required.
