he Sanitation Level II Technician is primarily responsible for providing excellent support to Plant Operations and delivering outstanding customer service to all associates and visitors. This position is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the facility, including production areas, offices, equipment, and conveyors, while following Master Cleaning Schedules and company sanitation procedures.
**This role also includes conveyor belt dismantling and assembly, equipment sanitation, and intensified cleaning tasks as needed.**

he Sanitation Level II Technician is primarily responsible for providing excellent support to Plant Operations and delivering outstanding customer service to all associates and visitors. This position is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the facility, including production areas, offices, equipment, and conveyors, while following Master Cleaning Schedules and company sanitation procedures.
**This role also includes conveyor belt dismantling and assembly, equipment sanitation, and intensified cleaning tasks as needed.**
Responsibilities
- Clean building structures in production areas and offices, including floors, walls, and ceilings.
- Perform conveyor belt dismantling, cleaning, sanitizing, and reassembly.
- Maintain a clean environment by removing trash, cardboard, and by-product waste.
- Service hand wash stations by replenishing soap, paper towels, sanitizer, and batteries for dispensers.
- Clean and disinfect restrooms using approved chemicals, procedures, and color-coded cleaning systems.
- Complete Master Cleaning Schedule documentation and chemical preparation forms accurately.
- Properly titrate chemicals and adjust chemical PPM levels when out of range.
- Perform intensified cleaning tasks in remediation areas.
- Conduct post-sanitation inspections.
- Perform dry-cleaning and wet-cleaning sanitation procedures as required.
- Prepare and maintain sanitizers for Raw and Ready-to-Eat production areas.
- Clean and sanitize production and manufacturing equipment.
- Complete cleaning work orders in a timely manner.
- Operate floor scrubbers, boom lifts, and scissor lifts safely and effectively.
- Follow all safety procedures and utilize required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervision.
- Ability to work weekends and flexible schedules based on business needs.
- Ability to work with or around food allergens of all types.
- Must work effectively in a team environment and treat others with respect.
- Ability to stand for extended periods:
- Minimum of 6 hours without a break
- Up to 12 hours with scheduled breaks
- No sitting positions available
- Ability to consistently lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to wear and properly utilize PPE.
- Ability to climb ladders and traverse elevated walkways.
- Ability to work in confined spaces, including spiral and oven areas.
- Skilled in sanitation procedures and safety practices.
- Confined space trained.
- Certified or able to become certified in operating:
- Floor scrubber
- Boom lift
- Scissor lift
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in food manufacturing sanitation environments.
- Knowledge of sanitation chemicals and cleaning procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety standards.
