This person will be responsible for the label management within the Production areas and for ensuring that all label transactions are delivered on time, according to the products specification.

The pay for this position is $18.00/hr.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Ensure all labels are stored and organized in the locked labeled cage in an organized manner to reduce risk of miss-labeling. Liaise with all relevant departments to ensure label orders are achieved on time. Issuing labels to the appropriate job and production P1 bin to create an accountability of label used by each job and reconciled back into inventory. Help purchasing with label counts and irregularities in label consumption as required by jobs. Inspecting labels and referencing the label specifications, product specifications and BOM for accuracy. Prepare the label orders for off shifts and work with both ICC and production to keep an accurate supply for each job ahead of time. Keep the security of the label supply and tools needed for the job. Request orders of supplies as need for the management of the label program. Review completed works order documentation with regards to label usage. Preview orders for labels needed ahead of time to ensure adequate supply is available.

Skills & Qualifications

Bilingual English Spanish, High School Diploma or equivalent required. 3+ years manufacturing experience required. Experience as responsible for equipment and process required. Ability to climb ladders and to work under machines as required. Working knowledge of production scheduling activities required. Effective communication skills (verbal, written, presentational and interpersonal). Proven ability to organize, plan and prioritize tasks within a high volume, varied workload. Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products, Word, Excel, Power Point knowledge preferred. Ability to work flexible hours as required.
