We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join our team as a Sales Manager focusing on key accounts including Walmart and Sam’s Club. This position is responsible for the Fresh Bakery portfolio. The role includes identifying sales opportunities and analyzing appropriate, strategic business and industry drivers. The position also develops, implements, and manages a sales strategy to achieve aggressive sales goals. This person will be accountable to grow the current relationship / business with one or more of our top ten customers.  The opportunity will be located either in Bentonville, AR or Remote


  • Manages a significant customer account portfolio of accounts (>$20M in sales) and has direct report responsibility
  • Accountable for sales performance vs. plan (AOP delivery), revenue, and margin targets for assigned accounts and assigned categories
  • Responsible for accurate demand plans and addresses gaps in customer strategic plan
  • Collaborates with broker teams to ensure key sales goals are achieved at assigned accounts
  • Builds relationships with key decision makers and is responsible for day-to-day relationship at assigned accounts and is the primary contact for the buyer
  • Conducts monthly, quarterly, and annual business reviews with customers focused on sales results, new item performance, and growth opportunities
  • Builds strategic relationship through joint business planning and customer collaboration
  • Works closely with cross-functional teams to identify whitespace opportunities and to develop annual plans to address opportunities
  • Reviews analysis and consumer data to understand product performance and category trends
  • Defines and communicates customer requests to the organization – becomes voice of customer to the organization
  • Develops promotional plans and tactics; responsible for planning and managing promotional spending / calendar
  • Executes revenue generation strategies including support for new item rollouts, expanded distribution, and development of strategic category business plans
  • Regular Travel
  • Works days, nights and weekends and the hours needed to deliver results
  • Consistent meeting attendance
  • Available to customers and prospective customers during business hours

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience managing national accounts
  • Working knowledge selling in the CPG / Food industry
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge / Experience with customer portals and analytic tools
  • Ability to work collaboratively and cohesively with company peers and cross-functional teams
  • Strong interpersonal skills - Listening and informing others effectively; excellent negotiating and influencing skills at all levels both internal and external
  • Must be a self-motivated self-starter
  • Must possess the ability to always maintain external and internal confidentiality
