- Primarily responsible to provide excellent support to the Maintenance Manager and excellent customer service to all associates and visitors. The Facilities Maintenance Tech will be responsible for preventative, predictive and routine maintenance tasks around the building and grounds. The Facilities Maintenance Technician will troubleshoot issues, repair failures of all facilities equipment to ensure maximum efficiency, effectiveness and reliability of all facility related equipment. Capable of leading outside contractors without supervision.
Responsibilities
Essential functions and responsibilities:- Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
- Be available to work off shifts and weekends per departmental needs
- Ability to climb up and down ladders and traverse walkways.
- Ability to work in confined spaces. (Spiral, oven area, etc)
- Ability to work with or around food allergens of all types.
- Ability to work with or around food allergens of all types.
- Must have the ability to stand a minimum of 6 hours without a break and a maximum of 12 hours with a break.
- There are NO sitting positions or jobs.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs consistently per department needs.
- Perform Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Predictive Maintenance (PdM) of all equipment related to the facility.
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair automated high-speed overhead doors.
- Repair concrete flooring and walls.
- Ability to repair all types of flooring, epoxy, carpet, hardwood and carpet.
- Fill out reports and other computer related functions.
- Comply with all safety standards and regulations provided by the company and government (e.g. LOTO, Work Permits, etc.).
- Adhere to all GMP’s and SOP’s in all areas.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications
Qualifications required:- 3 years of industrial facilities maintenance experience.
- Ability to schedule and oversee outside contractors related to the facility.
- Knowledge of Industrial and Commercial plumbing.
- Availability to work off shifts and weekends.
- Knowledge of Industrial and commercial HVAC.
- Ability to read and interpret machine manuals/schematics, electrical blueprints/schematics and process control diagrams.
- Mechanical installation.
Qualifications desired: - Bilingual (English/Spanish).
- Knowledge of industrial flooring and paint.
- Indiana State wastewater certification or ability to obtain one in six months.
