What You Need to Be Successful
- Ability to work with or around bakery allergens of all types
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial baking
- Research & development experience
- Work experience as professional pastry chef/baker in large-scale bakery manufacturing
- Demonstrated technical achievement in the development of laminated dough (i.e., croissants) and development of batter-based products for the bakery service and in-store bakery markets
- AIB certification in baking
- Strong understanding of bakery formulation, ingredient functionality, and bakery processing
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and ability to meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and departments
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with product development software and tools
